Dr. Emily Limerick is the proud mother of four beautiful children (Lila, Olivia, Benjamin, and Theodore) and is thankful to be married to her best friend. She is a physician at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She attended Brown University for college and medical school and completed a pediatrics residency. She served as a general pediatrician in the US Air Force, caring for children of active duty service members. She completed a pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship in the Johns Hopkins- NIH training program. Sister Limerick enjoys caring for patients, and her research focuses on developing a widely available cure for sickle cell disease. Sister Limerick is animated by Hebrews 12:1-3; her mission is to keep her eyes on Jesus as she runs the race that is marked out for her. She is a leader for the PBC Kids ministry and is excited to serve as the first lady of Pilgrim Baptist Church.
